Shadai Melody’s story begins with music at home: an early connection to the piano, learning by listening, and growing into an artist whose work crosses Latin and R&B/Soul spaces.

Her artist biography recalls receiving a miniature grand piano at age three and learning a song her father practiced. She later wrote the music chart for her father’s song “No La Encontré.” In 2017, a KWTX profile reported that Shadai Gutierrez and her father, Jovino Gutierrez, received Best Duo and Best Music Composition honors at the 7th Annual Premios Fox Music USA Awards for their original song “Tu Voz.”
